It's a good news for me that I managed to change my blog look n' feel. finally. You should know that I have never be a good designer. I can criticize design, but I can make it. Mostly I just search around theme repository and pick one which is most suitable for me :-D.

Same for this time too, but I make it better. I found the inove theme on wordpress theme directory, and it's really better and stylist than acquia theme. At least, it gives you personality.

I also found a drupal adaption for inove theme on drupal theme directory, but the adaption make the site look too "general", the same "problem" with all drupal theme. So I decided to adapt the theme myself.

What I tried to do is to make the theme as clear as possible. If you have some knowledge in drupal, you will know that drupal combine all "links" together, like num of comments, add new comments, num of trackback .v.v. at the footer of a node (aka: the end of a post). I don't like this approach, it does not emphasize the information of the post. So I remove some links from the links array and put somewhere else. For better vision and comprehension.

The second thing I don't like in drupal theme is that they mix tags & categories into a group. So It's very hard to know which term is category, and which other is tag. And I have to put my hand on this too. You can see at the end of this post, category & tags is clearly separated. I belive that there isn't so many drupal sites has this feature :-)) . But I have to keep the links list too, it's required for other modules.

Another adaption is the comment list. Drupal comment list is always boring to me, inove drupal adaption also has this problem. So I  copy the style from orginal inove, with gravatar supported :-D. Thought, it may not compatible with threaded-comment list, but it will be ok for me.

I also make some small enhancement in this design. Such as the footer drupal logo :D. I also changed the emoticon pack, Yahoo! seems to fit my style. Trackback is disabled due to spam fltering iteration with mollom is not finished yet. I got hundreds of backlinks spam these days.

There're many things to finish, like the paginator, comment links and the mess with admin areas :lol: . But for the frontend, it's enough to show up. When I finish the theme, I will publish it if it does not conflict with any other work (current drupal inove theme) or license.

P/s: Finally (an other one) I got fckeditor working perfectly. That will save me a lot of time when writing post. That will also mean I will blog more often :-D
